Quantity Surveyor About the Company: Our client is the leading supplier of Garden Rooms, House Extensions and Renovations in Ireland.

They have honed their expertise and established a reputation for delivery and service over its twenty-six-year tenure in an industry that is notorious for its budget and schedule overruns.

From design concept and budgeting stages through to on site completion, they provide a complete Design & Build service.

It is a brand with a well-established image and reputation.

As they continue to expand and grow in the Irish market and looks to increase its offering further this year.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven candidate to join the team.

The Role: Working within the project management team which includes Quantity Surveyors, Project managers, Procurement managers, Architects and Engineers, you will manage all projects from the pre-construction stage through to practical completion from a financial aspect.

This is a high-volume business that is looking to expand and grow.

You will be tasked with ensuring the tender stages and contract administration is carried out in an efficient manner and that all projects come in on budget.

The focus is ensuring our clients are supported and informed throughout with any variations to the contract clearly communicated.

This relationship management is key to the success of our projects.

Your Responsibilities: Financial reporting across all projects Contract Administration of each project Manage all variations to the contract throughout each project Financial appraisals to aid in implementation of commercial strategy Manage the project reviews highlighting any risks to senior management Liaise with Architect, Engineer, Procurement and Project managers and Director of Operations for pre and onsite stages.

Manage and develop sub-contractors working on the projects Build and oversee tender packages for main contractors Build and oversee subcontractors packages including all variation and payment claims Your Profile: 5 years minimum experience working in a high volume construction environment Degree or relevant third level qualification.

Preferably in Quantity Surveying.

Demonstrate consultancy skills.

This is a client and contractor facing role where you will need to manage these relationships throughout each project stage and help navigate challenges that arise.

A motivated candidate with strong communication and negotiating skills.

A desire to own the process.

You will work collaboratively with the Managing Director to implement change.

You will be organised, and detail focused.
