The role includes researching technical accounting matters, drafting related position papers, preparation and review of financial statements, standardization of policy and procedures, special projects, interaction with external auditors, and requires advanced research and analytical skills with a proven track record to drive accountability and deliver results.Performing analysis and technical accounting research (IFRS and international accounting standards)Maintaining accounting policies and procedures and partnering with stakeholders to operationalize accounting policies and proceduresEnsuring appropriate documentation of accounting treatment of complex and judgmental transactions, including analysis, relevant guidance, and conclusionPreparation and review of statutory financial statements under IFRS and other international accounting standardsAnalyzing the impact of emerging IFRS and other international accounting standards on the Company and assessing broader implications for the businessManaging the end-to-end audit process with external auditors both for group and statutory financial statementsImplementing and educating accounting teams of necessary changes to adopt and comply with new standards and ensure proper disclosure in filingsEvaluating and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's accounting processes, including ensuring compliance with IFRS and other international accounting standardsServing as liaison for technical accounting matters with internal stakeholders and external advisors and auditorsAssisting with special projects, including regulatory and other ad hoc assignmentsThe Successful ApplicantQualified ACA, ACCA, and CIMA also appropriateEx Practice (top 60 to Big 4) having moved into industry (FS)Strong Excel skillsExcellent communication skillsWhat's on Offer€up to 80,000 basicCompetitive bonus schemeMarket-leading benefits package
