About the Role Our client, a leading builders merchant in Ireland, is seeking an Internal Sales Representative for their Sandyford branch. This is a full-time, in-person position focused on providing excellent customer service and supporting the sales process for both new and existing customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and play a vital role in the ongoing success of the branch. Key Responsibilities Efficiently process and follow up on customer enquiries in person, by phone, and via email. Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and related activities. Communicate effectively with suppliers to coordinate the sourcing and delivery of products. Support and collaborate with external sales representatives to ensure customer quotes and orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, focusing on long-term loyalty. Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Criteria Experience using Microsoft Office; familiarity with computerized accounts systems is an advantage. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Proven ability to meet deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Exceptional attention to detail. Experience At least 1 year of experience in a building providers trade counter or a similar sales support role is preferred.
