The Opportunity
We are looking to hire a Semi Senior Accountant. This is a new position, working across a range of Touring Artists, Songwriters, Record Labels and Management Companies. We're looking for an accountant who is well underway with their ACCA or ACA qualification and someone who has a sound level of experience in all areas of general accounting and basic level audit skills. You will be detail focused, as well as being a strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
What will the role entail?
The role will require you to:
· Tour Accounts
· Accounts Production
· VAT, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns
· Liaising with clients
· Client administration, raising invoices, assisting with bank account applications
How do you know if you are right for the role?
Experience
· 2-3 years of experience within accountancy practice, music industry specific is a bonus.
Education
· ATI Qualified or working towards ACCA/ACA.
· Past experience using QuickBooks online and Sage accounts production is desirable
Behaviors
· Strong attention to detail.
· Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
· A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
