RESPONSIBILITIESHelp juniors manage their tasks and make their deadlinesPromote Larian's unique methods and iterative processes and serve as an exampleCoach and help juniors to improve their animation quality and overcome their technical challengesRelay and amplify the artistic vision of the Animation DirectorCommunicate with team leadership and productionUnderstand the requirements of the game and maintain the animation style of the production titleExplain your technical needs and the needs of the junior animators to our technical teamAdhere and commit to the milestones and sprints set for the entire team by our producersCreate charming and believable in-game animations -- from the biggest creature to the smallest assetsPartner with designers in their need to create an emotionally engaging worldMaintain your own animations through polish and bug fixingREQUIREMENTS5+ years animation experienceA demo reel showcasing your animation workProficient with Autodesk MayaThorough understanding of modern and classical animation stylesKnowledge of anatomy and what moves and motivates creatures and characters alikeKnowledge of animation fundamentals, techniques, and acting/stagingExcellent written and spoken EnglishAble to collaborate in a studio environment and give and receive feedbackNICE TO HAVESExperience in solving production limitations of character and animation pipelinesKnowledge of Python and MELPassion for video gamesWe are looking for highly motivated individuals with ever-evolving skillsets and passion for player experience.
