Role
The position involves working within a multidisciplinary Psychological Therapies team (or equivalent) to provide evidence‑based treatments for individuals with mild to moderate psychological disorders. The role includes individual clinical work, group interventions and caseload management.
Responsibilities
Provide psychological therapies to adults with a wide range of mental health problems including anxiety and depressive disorders.
Manage own caseload within the specialty area using specialist techniques and maintain clinical records.
Work with clinical psychology colleagues and other mental health professionals to provide a psychology service to patients.
Contribute to service delivery and participate in service evaluation within the area as directed.
Qualifications
Honours degree in Psychology (eligible for GBR) and a postgraduate Masters level (or equivalent) degree in Psychological Therapy.
Relevant clinical experience.
Knowledge of relevant national and professional guidelines for optimal standards of clinical care.
Understanding of psychiatry and other related professions in order to comprehend complex clinical presentations.
Excellent communication skills.
A driving licence is required; must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
