Overview
Eir Evo Talent has partnered with a leading public sector client in Dublin. We're looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join their team on a 6-month contract. You'll be working on the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable software solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies.
This role will suit a hands-on developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality applications. This opportunity is based in Dublin with office requirements of 3 days on-site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications using Microsoft .NET Core, C#, VB, and MVC.
2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support internal and external integrations.
3. Work with jQuery and Angular to deliver responsive and dynamic front-end experiences.
4. Design and optimise database solutions to ensure performance and scalability.
5. Use Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile project management.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
7. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
8. Minimum 4 years' experience designing and developing .NET-based software solutions.
9. Strong proficiency with .NET Core, C#, VB, MVC, jQuery, and Angular.
10. Proven experience with database design and development (SQL Server or similar).
11. Hands-on experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
12. Practical experience using Azure DevOps for builds, deployments, and version control.
13. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
