The Consultant will play a key role in:
Delivering specialist
paediatric ophthalmology services
within a high-volume private setting
Providing expert
assessment, diagnosis, and management of paediatric eye conditions
Performing a broad range of
ophthalmic procedures and surgeries
Contributing to
service development, innovation, and clinical excellence
Supporting a
family-centred approach to care
, working closely with parents and caregivers
Collaborating with orthoptists and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes

Eligibility
Suitable applicants may hold:
Fellowship or specialist qualification in
Ophthalmology with Paediatric subspecialty interest
UK CCT, EU Specialist qualification, or equivalent international certification
American Board, Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand Fellowship
Eligibility for Irish Medical Council Specialist Registration is required.
