Job Title: HR Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dedicated HR support to our client sites in Cork and our Fermoy office, ensuring the smooth delivery of all HR processes and tasks.
This role is designed to provide guidance on employment matters, process employee data changes, and support Employee Relations cases. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive, and possess a strong attention to detail.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on employment matters in line with legislation and company policy.
* Process employee data changes, including contract updates (hours, roster, reporting lines, etc.) within our HR system.
* Support HRBPs with Employee Relations cases (investigations, minute taking, invite letters, meeting scheduling).
* Manage retirement processes, discussions, and offboarding.
* Process invoices through Workday, including creating POs for suppliers.
* Assist with performance and objective-setting process and personal development planning through HRIS system (Workday).
* Help design and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and standard documentation.
* Support the onboarding and offboarding process, including new starter calls and exit interviews.
* Follow up on probation reviews, assisting managers with extensions if needed.
* Provide recruitment support (references, interview coordination) to ensure a smooth resourcing process.
* Organise occupational health medicals.
* Maintain and update the HRIS system (Workday).
* Support attendance management processes.
* Assist with Veolia's wellness programme and charity events.
* Handle general administration and ad-hoc HR/project tasks as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess:
* A Level 8 qualification in Human Resource Management or Business Studies with an HRM focus.
* 1-2 years of experience in a graduate or HR admin role.
* Proficiency in MS Suite / Google Suite.
* Experience with Workday is a plus.
* A detail-oriented, proactive, and innovative approach to work.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A team player with a positive attitude.
* The ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.
