Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 is a key leadership position within our organization, responsible for the effective management and care of children with complex disabilities. This role requires a strong clinical leader who can support the delivery of high-quality services and ensure the highest standards of clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes of patient-centred care, including the development of services and care delivery around agreed goals.
* Contribute to the clinical formulation and decision-making processes in patient management.
* Develop accessible education material and information handouts for parents and children on various procedures and therapeutic modalities.
* Act as an advocate or liaison for the child where there are multiple services involved in their integrated care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RNID, RCN, RGN, RPN) with NMBI registration in good standing.
* Minimum 5 years post-registration experience, including 2 years at a supervisory or senior nursing level.
* Experience working with children with disabilities, complex medical needs, or developmental delays.
* Strong knowledge of interdisciplinary models of care, PDS framework, and family-centred practice.
* Excellent communication, leadership, safeguarding, and clinical decision-making skills.
