A leading manufacturer of high-performance, technology-driven materials is seeking aPrincipal Quality Engineerto take ownership of the site'sQuality Management System (QMS).The role requires strong technical leadership, deep understanding ofIATF 16949, and the ability to maintain fullaudit readinessacross all operations. You will support new product introduction, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen quality performance through every stage of manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality System & ComplianceLead, maintain, and improve the QMS in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer standards.Ensure the site operates in a state of audit readiness at all times.Lead internal and external audits and guide teams on audit requirements, evidence, and corrective actions.Regulatory & Customer RequirementsEnsure product and process compliance with regulatory and customer specifications.Manage customer complaints, CAPA, and vigilance reporting.Technical LeadershipProvide quality input to product design, development, and process changes.Support NPI through PPAP, APQP, and risk-based documentation.Continuous ImprovementDrive improvement using RCA, 8D, DMAIC, CAPA, and quality data analysis.Risk Management & Process OversightLead PFMEA, MSA, SPC reviews and support manufacturing, supplier quality, and product validation.Mentorship & CollaborationMentor junior staff and work cross-functionally to achieve operational and quality goals.Qualifications & SkillsDegree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering/Science.Strong experience with IATF 16949 and core quality tools .Proven audit leadership and understanding of audit requirements.Skilled in PFMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, CAPA, and 8D.Proficient in MS Office and Minitab.Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
