Senior Physiotherapist-Medical
Permanent – Full Time Post
We welcome applications for the permanent/full-time position of Senior Physiotherapist-Medical at Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert physiotherapy care across the acute medical spectrum, with a focus on respiratory, neurology, cardiology, elderly care, oncology and rheumatology.
* Manage complex patient cases, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care and rehabilitation and discharge planning.
* Provide respiratory cover at weekends which includes HDU.
* Work closely with medical teams to create tailored treatment plans for patients.
* Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to care, responding to the changing needs of the department.
Candidate Requirements:
* CORU membership is essential.
* Extensive experience in acute medical care, including in areas such as respiratory, neurology, elderly care cardiology and rheumatology
* Desirable experience in HDU
* Desirable experience in vestibular rehabilitation, lymphoedema management.
* Post-graduate courses or CPD relevant to acute medical conditions is highly desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Flexibility to cover respiratory weekends as required.
* Must be eligible to work within the EU
