Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines. This includes building and managing Lakehouses and Warehouses on One Lake (ADLS Gen2) using Delta Lake, optimizing Spark jobs and SQL queries for performance and cost efficiency, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub Actions, monitoring and governing data flows using Fabric REST APIs, Admin Monitoring Workspaces, and Microsoft Purview, collaborating with cross-functional teams in shared Fabric Workspaces to support analytics and reporting needs, and ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across all stages of the pipeline lifecycle.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory
* Proficiency in SQL, Py Spark, Python, and REST APIs
* Hands-on experience with Delta Lake, ADLS Gen2, and Spark optimization
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, and automated testing frameworks
* Understanding of data classification, lineage, and access control using Microsoft Purview

This is a temporary position with an initial contract length of 12 months, with the possibility of extension thereafter. We offer a competitive hourly rate and a dynamic working environment.
