Meath Hours: 35 hours per week Position: Full-time Contract: 1-year specified purpose contract with possibility of extension Excel Healthcare is currently recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join a Child Disability Network Team based in Trim, Co.
Meath, with service delivery extending across the surrounding area.
Successful candidate: As a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children and families.
You'll work within a highly skilled interdisciplinary team that includes Senior Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of children (0-18 years) with disabilities including physical, sensory, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and autism.
Carry out assessments, interventions, and support plans to promote independence and participation.
Contribute to group and individual therapy programmes, supporting family-centred care.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, child-focused care.
Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in service planning and evaluation.
Essential Requirements: CORU registration (or evidence of application/eligibility).
Experience working with children and young people with disabilities.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Full clean driver's license and access to own transport for community visits.
Current residency in Ireland with the legal right to work without restrictions.
