About the Role
As a skilled Accounts Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services to clients.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Preparing statutory company accounts
* Direct client interaction and relationship management
* Delivery of bundled services to audit-exempt clients, including:
o Preparation of company accounts
o Preparation of tax returns (subject to review by the tax team)
o Assistance with bookkeeping queries
o Xero support and client training
o Collaboration with the payroll team on related matters
* Support for clients, including preparation and submission of VAT returns
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Part-Qualified Accountant or experienced Accounts Technician qualification
* A background in bookkeeping and accounts preparation
* To have progressed through a practical, hands-on accounting pathway
* To be comfortable speaking with smaller clients in a clear and approachable manner
* Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
* Experience working with small business clients and owner-managed businesses (OMB)
