Details about the Role
Summary:
The Legal Counsel will join our growing in-house legal department in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, reporting directly to our current Property Legal Counsel. The Legal Counsel will work on all real estate elements of the solar lifecycle. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a property lawyer to gain experience in renewables. This is a permanent role.
Key responsibilities:
* Drafting and negotiating option and lease agreements.
* Drafting and negotiating ancillary property documents, such as deeds of variation, maintenance agreements and deeds of assignment.
* Managing the asset transfer process of substations with Eirgrid and the ESB for multiple solar sites.
* Managing invoices and liaising with our accounts team to ensure external parties are paid on time.
* Running searches.
* Preparing and managing caution applications with Tailte Éireann and stamp duty returns with our tax manager post-closing.
* Providing ad hoc support to the wider legal team.
Background and Experience required
* NQ – 3 year PQE considered.
* Experience in a property team desirable.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, balancing deadlines and priorities effectively.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
