Responsibilities
1. Research and plan the most appropriate and cost-effective shipping routes.
2. Organize and facilitate daily operations within the Air & Sea Freight Export Department.
3. Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Negotiate contracts, transportation, and handling costs.
5. Prepare and check documentation to meet customs, insurance, packaging, and regulatory requirements.
6. Meet or exceed customer needs, requirements, and KPIs.
7. Coordinate with and manage third parties according to customer specifications.
8. Arrange insurance and assist clients with claims.
9. Maintain communication with customers, providing visibility and control throughout the shipment process, including management reports and analysis.
10. Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external suppliers.
11. Complete customs formalities or subcontract services as needed.
12. Provide quotations to existing and new clients and agents.
13. Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans.
14. Drive continuous departmental improvements.
15. Assist with the department's P&L management.
16. Support local business development, sales processes, and customer visits to achieve growth targets.
Candidate Requirements
1. At least 10 years of experience in both Airfreight and Seafreight exports, with confidence in both modes of transport.
2. Specialized expertise in Pharma, Perishable, or Secure Cargo products.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
4. Fluency in written and spoken English.
5. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
6. High energy, a positive attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
7. Legal eligibility to work in the country of employment.
