Job Title – Maintenance Technician
Job Location – Co. Cavan
Salary – €45K - €55K BOE
Role Overview:
Our client based in County Cavan currently have a requirement for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their highly experience team and company.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role requires the individual to undertake routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting breakdowns. This is a daily role Monday to Friday involving on-call when required.
They are looking for a motivated, reliable and ambitious individual who has the ability to work under pressure and within a team environment and successfully thrive for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support and deliver planned preventive maintenance schedules in line with production related requirements.
* Support production team in maximising factory readiness and effectiveness, including start up’s, product changes and planned maintenance.
* Perform follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime and machine inefficiencies leading to operational lost time.
* Apply sound technical solutions to resolve problems relating to factory efficiencies and to drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure all factory maintenance operations are conducted in a safe, compliant and controlled environment and documented in accordance with the Quality Management System and Regulatory Compliance.
* Assist maintenance team on other projects as deemed necessary by Operations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* 3+ years’ experience working as a Maintenance Technician / Engineer.
* Ability to troubleshooting, fault finding & root cause analysis on factory/process issues.
* Mechanical & Electrical experience / knowledge.
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team.
* Technically minded with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Experience working in FMCG environment.
* Experience operating within, and delivering on, the highest quality standards in the manufacturing sector is desirable.
* Excellent Communication skills.
