We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor/Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site, including the supervision of subcontractors, resources, and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure all works are completed safely, to a high standard, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Health & Safety
Enforce company HSQE standards and site-specific safety requirements.
Manage and monitor site health and safety for direct staff and subcontractors.
Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, SPA's, and HSQE inspections.
Prepare and review RAMS with project management.
Quality & Environment
Ensure all works meet required quality standards and specifications.
Address and rectify defects promptly and arrange client sign-off.
Raise NCRs and share lessons learned.
Manage waste and environmental compliance on site.
Planning & Coordination
Supervise and coordinate site labour, plant, and subcontractors.
Assist in developing and achieving lookahead programmes.
Monitor productivity, costs, and outputs against budget.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate site paperwork (diaries, returns, permits, etc.).
Attend and contribute to internal and client meetings.
Provide regular progress updates and close out HSQE actions.
Commercial Awareness
Monitor project costs, productivity, and material usage.
Be aware of programme impacts, variations, and delays.
Report potential cost/time implications early.
People Management
Lead, motivate, and mentor site teams.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Resolve issues and conflicts quickly to minimise disruption.
Requirements
5+ years' construction experience in a supervisory role (Ireland or UK).
Proven track record delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Completion of Site Safety Supervisor Programme (or similar).
Strong knowledge of HSQE standards.
Full, clean driving licence required.
Excellent spoken and written English.
