Our headquarters in Limerick houses over 70 support staff in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Logistics.
We are now recruiting a Mobile Shop Assistant
This role involves working across our Portlaoise and Naas stores, with occasional visits to other stores within a specific geographical area. Candidates should reside near either Portlaoise or Naas and be able to travel to the other store at short notice. The role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Your Mission
As a shop assistant, you will provide knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable service to our customers. You will promote our products and services, drive shop sales, and support a team that takes pride in their store and enjoys working together.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Build effective relationships with customers through value-added selling.
* Identify sales opportunities and offer advice on our extensive product range.
* Achieve monthly sales and margin targets.
* Maintain a clean and well-merchandised shop area.
* Ensure stock levels are adequate.
* Make telesales calls to customers.
* Keep the working environment tidy and safe.
* Remain security conscious at all times.
Skills, Experience & Requirements
* Experience in sales with a strong desire to succeed.
* Must have a reliable car and full driving license.
* Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
* Willingness to work hard and learn.
* Great communication skills and a helpful nature.
* Friendly, reliable, honest, and enthusiastic.
* Flexibility and mobility to work at short notice within a radius close to your home.
* Background in construction, tools, automotive, or retail is preferred but not essential.
