Join to apply for the Site Manager-Electrical role at Glanua.Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.DescriptionRole: Electrical Site ManagerLocation: Ballincollig Regional Office covering projects throughout Southwest IrelandSalary: CompetitiveKnowledge, Skills and Experience:Level 7 Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in the Water & Wastewater sector.Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork, problem resolution and presentation skills.Skills:Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Trimble Design and Autodesk products desirable.Full Clean driving license.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure HSE & Sustainability standards, policies, and procedures are always adhered to on-site.Work with electrical design engineers on design reviews, including M&I Listings, cable sizing, control panel schematics, MIC load calculations, generator sizing, MV design review, etc.Manage delivery of electrical and installation scope on projects, including design, procurement, supervision, commissioning, and handover.Procure packages such as control panels, automation hardware/software, starters, electrical installation works, MV works, and lightning protection.Ensure project quality through testing, inspections, and commissioning in line with quality plans and employer’s requirements.Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Permits, and other H&S documentation.Prepare scope documents and tender packages.Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site staff, and design teams involved in the project.What we offer you:The opportunity to join an ambitious and growing organization.Monday to Friday (39-hour week).22 days annual leave plus 10 bank holidays.Competitive salary.Company vehicle and fuel card.Access to EAP – 24/7 confidential employee counselling for employees and families.About Glanua:Glanua is a leader in innovative, sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure solutions across Ireland and the UK, serving major utilities like Irish Water and Thames Water.
