Job Opportunity: Electrical Site Manager
The role of an Electrical Site Manager involves leading and coordinating teams of electrical engineering trade professionals on site. Their primary responsibility is to track and record daily site activities and progress, ensuring quality, timeliness, and efficiency. The project entails a CAT-A commercial fitout in Dublin 3. This person will play a vital part in the smooth-running of the project.
In conjunction with the project team, you will be responsible for executing various stages of a project as follows:
* Management of day-to-day site operations
* Coordinating site activities to ensure work is completed on time
* Ensuring plant materials onsite meet agreed specifications
* Managing Quality Control against approved benchmarks
* Managing subcontractor activities, including progress tracking and damage notices
* Participating in look-ahead meetings and subcontractor meetings
* Liaising with health and safety to ensure work is completed safely
* Staying abreast with housekeeping and material storage management
* Liaising with clients and departmental managers for timely delivery and effective handover
* Reporting to Direct Line Contracts Manager
What You Need To Succeed
* Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
* Trade-qualified or construction-related qualification
* 2+ years' experience on a large-scale project as an Electrical Project Manager or other supervisory role
* Strong organisation and management skills
* Ability to manage time, drive productivity and meet deadlines
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks
* Interpersonal skills with willingness to work independently and as part of a wider site team
