Naval Service Maintenance Engineer

About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining and repairing onboard systems, including propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary machinery.
* Diagnosing and resolving faults in a timely and efficient manner.
* Participating in emergency response operations at sea, ensuring the safety of the crew and vessel.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
* Citizenship: You must be an Irish citizen or legally entitled to work in Ireland.
* Character & Fitness: You must meet medical, physical, and security clearance standards.
* Age: You must be between 18–39 years old on the date of application.
* Qualifications: You must possess a HETAC Level 7 qualification in Marine or Mechanical Engineering, QQI Advanced Certificate Craft in Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Fitting, Diesel Fitting, or Motor Mechanics, or Department of Marine & Natural Resources Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) Certificate of Competency.
