Position Summary
The candidate will join the Portfolio & Fund Management ("PFM") Team supporting the management of the firm’s assets, financing facilities and funds. Based in Dublin, the Senior Manager will benefit from the support and experience of the PFM team, members of Carlyle Aviation senior management in Miami and Dublin, as well as on occasion to external industry professionals.
Asset Analysis
Asset-level modelling in order to determine optimal outcome for returns, including analysis of lease extensions, restructurings, new leases, and sales
Liaising with other departments (trading, marketing, accounting, legal, technical) for required information
Ongoing maintenance of portfolio models, involving regular updates and appraisal analysis
Preparation of approval memoranda for key portfolio and asset decisions
Fund level modelling incorporating asset, liability, and fund-level cash flows
Preparation of cash flows to be provided to the relevant banks
Working on presentations for rating agencies and potential investors and lenders
Dealing with ad hoc queries and requests from the other parties
Review of all materials including offering materials and legal documentation
Reporting & Investor Relations
Liaising with the accounting department on monthly collections
Preparation and/or review of the distribution waterfall, ensuring sufficient liquidity within the structure and compliance with all covenants
Equity & Board Reporting
Preparation of the servicer update for the quarterly board meetings
Preparing responses to the questions from the Board
Communicating with the equity owners of the deals to inform them of latest developments as well as regular update material

Qualifications
Education & Certificates
Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or similar
Professional Experience
6 years or more of experience in an aircraft lessor or aviation-finance related position
Strong mathematical and analytical background
Excellent communication, writing skills and attention to detail
Strong work ethic with ability to work under tight deadlines and flexibility to work different hours
Self-starter using own initiative and team player
Excellent time-management skills and ability to work on more than one project at a time
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to assist and support others and cope well under pressure
