Responsibilities
* Develop and implement CNC programs for turning operations based on technical drawings and specifications.
* Set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring optimal machine performance and tool efficiency.
* Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy of components.
* Conduct regular inspections of finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.
* Document production data, including programming changes, tooling used, and inspection results.
* Adhere to all safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
* Stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices in CNC turning and machining technology.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Turning Programmer in a precision machining environment.
* Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and CAD/CAM software.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
* Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and related machinery.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Familiarity with quality control processes and ISO standards is a plus.
