An industry-leading semiconductor company is looking for a junior ASIC Design Engineer to join their CPU & Sensors Team onsite in Cork, Ireland.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement digital logic using RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL).Develop micro-architectures derived from system-level specifications.Perform functional simulations and debugging using industry-standard EDA tools.Collaborate with verification engineers to create test plans and support testbench development.Partner with physical design teams to achieve timing closure and integrate DFT features.Participate in design reviews and contribute to the enhancement of design methodologies.Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, implementation details, and verification outcomes, to support the architecture and design of specific blocks, SoCs, or IC packages.Key Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital design.At least 6 months of experience with architecture and design tools.At least 6 months of experience with scripting tools and programming languages.Level of Responsibility:Works under direct supervision.Decisions primarily impact the immediate work area or project group.Communicates basic and routine information clearly in both verbal and written form.Completes tasks involving multiple steps, requiring basic planning, prioritization, and problem-solving to ensure effective execution.By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
