Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Parts Coordinator to support the efficient supply of parts to our Workshop. This role involves proactively planning and communicating with the Service Team to drive improvements in working efficiencies and Customer Service Levels.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of vehicle types and parts, preferably with HGV experience. They should be confident utilizing a computerized parts system and have experience with stock management, warranty handling, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring timely and efficient parts delivery process for all workshop repairs
* Performing routine checks for parts supply on all workshop jobs
* Liaising with suppliers for ordering non-Volvo parts
Additional Responsibilities:
* Maintaining accurate records of parts inventory and usage
* Preparing and processing all parts-related documentation
* Managing and coordinating the supply of special tools/consumables
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining high standards of general housekeeping in the Warehouse and Workshop areas, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
