Finance Manager Role Overview
The position of Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing key financial functions, encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, staff expenses, and cash/bank administration.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Process supplier payments in a timely and accurate manner
* Reconcile ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Handle staff reimbursements efficiently and effectively
* Maintain comprehensive bank records
* Prepare and present detailed financial reports
* Support internal and external audits through meticulous documentation and analysis
The Finance Manager will also assist senior finance staff with ad-hoc projects and contribute to the smooth operation of the finance function by implementing effective processes and procedures.
Key Requirements
* Level 6 (or above) qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Experience working in Finance within the healthcare/disability sector
* Proven ability to work in a busy, deadline-driven environment
* Experience managing and prioritizing workload to meet tight deadlines/competing demands
* Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
Desirable skills include proficiency in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
