Cronin Security & Fire Systems are currently seeking experienced Security & Fire Engineers to join our ever-growing company. We currently employ over 70 staff across our three sectors Cronin Electrical, Cronin Solar and Cronin Security & Fire Systems. Be part of our TeamThis role will offer the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from Domestic housing, social housing and Commercial.The Ideal candidate would have 3+ Years experience with Security & Fire Systems but this is not essential. 3+ Years in either sector will be considered as training will be providedThe successful applicant will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of Security & Fire Systems such as:CCTV Systems (HD & IP)Intruder alarm systemsAccess control systemsIntercom SystemsFire Alarm, Aspiration and Disabled Refuge SystemsKey ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and maintain fire & security systems in accordance with industry standards and company proceduresDiagnose and repair faults on a range of Security & Fire SystemsBuild strong relations with existing and potential customersWork both independently and as part of a teamEnsure compliance with PSA & NSAI regulations and Health and SafetyRequired Experience and SkillsMinimum 2-3 years' experience in Security or Fire systemsStrong aptitude with CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control or Fire SystemsFull, clean driving licenceStrong communication and fault-finding skillsDesirable SkillsIT/networking knowledgeExperience with fire alarm systems and security systemsA Willingness to learn both competenciesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (Depending on Experience)Company van, phone and LaptopTraining will be provided if needed on any of the sectors (Fire or Security)Team Environment (Currently at 70 Staff between or Electrical, Solar and Security & Fire Sectors)Wide variety or work (Domestic and Commercial)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carCompany pensionSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Cork, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Security or Fire : 2 years (required)Language:English (required)Licence/Certification:Safepass Card (preferred)Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
