Senior Quality Assurance Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Cork)

Qualifications & Experience
* Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or similar field
* 7–10 years’ Quality Assurance experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a GMP environment
* Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience, developing and managing teams
* Strong knowledge of cGMP, ICH, ISO guidelines, and global regulatory expectations
* Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
* Experience in operational areas such as Manufacturing, R&D, or QC (preferred)
Responsibilities
This key leadership role will oversee QA operations and ensure delivery of site objectives:
* Guarantee cGMP compliance across processes and projects
* Manage and develop the QA team, ensuring high performance and alignment with strategic goals
* Lead regulatory and client audits, ensuring readiness at all times
* Approve complex documentation, change controls, and quality standards
* Monitor performance KPIs and initiate corrective actions when needed
* Drive continuous improvement to streamline QA processes and enhance compliance
* Coordinate recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members
* Oversee planning and budgeting activities for the QA function
