About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Principal Financial Modeler. In this role, you will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure accurate rebate calculations and payments. Your expertise will be essential in building strong relationships, collaborating on opportunities, and providing subject matter expertise in Reporting, Analytics, and Business Intelligence solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Applying modeling techniques to specific therapeutic classes, individual clients, and at a macro level for all clients.
* Working with other departments to align modeling methodologies across our business.
* Embedding forecasting models to predict future trends in drug utilization, costs, and savings.
* Providing insights into market dynamics that impact rebate strategies.
You will also have the opportunity to develop predictive models to anticipate future healthcare trends, patient behavior, and treatment outcomes. Additionally, you will utilize machine learning algorithms to enhance model performance and interpret results to inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive data analysis using large datasets from various sources (claims data, clinical data, etc.).
2. Identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business value.
3. Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
4. Present findings and scenarios in a clear manner to internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively across a matrix environment to deliver business goals.
* Experience in working with and analyzing diverse datasets to develop business insight and strategy.
* Understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry.
