The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in biotechnology and have experience in supervising teams. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of commercial manufacturing production schedules while guiding the manufacturing team in relation to process execution.
This role requires a high level of organizational skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as effective communication and leadership skills. The supervisor will work closely with other departments such as Facilities, Process Development, Process Analytical Sciences, Regulatory, Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
In this position, you will lead all aspects of a team responsible for the manufacture of bulk drug substance in a controlled environment. You will ensure the maintenance of the highest safety and housekeeping standards and review batch records in line with regulatory standards.
You will also be responsible for scheduling duties and batch tasks based on master production schedules. This includes ensuring equipment readiness, coordinating regular equipment maintenance and calibrations, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Additionally, you will perform audits of production areas, manage personnel, and handle performance evaluations. You will collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals and maintain a safe working environment.
