Hmo Licensing And Enforcement Officer
About The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) licensing scheme, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
* Carry out inspections, surveys, site visits, interviews and research work to validate assigned applications and ensure timely submission of required information and fees.
* Assist in monitoring and actioning complaints related to anti-social behaviour and environmental quality matters linked to licensed HMO premises.
* Maintain a detailed technical knowledge of all relevant legislation relating to the Houses in Multiple Occupation (Northern Ireland) Act 2016, including HMO subordinate legislation, codes of practice, guidance, and standard licensing conditions.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
* A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline or at least two years' experience in legislative enforcement and application.
* Full, current driving licence and car available for business use.
Benefits:
This position offers an immediate start and the opportunity to work on a temporary contract basis. You will be paid via Hays on a weekly basis for all hours worked.
