Summary of Post
Project Title: Fostering European Nurses’ Entrepreneurial Innovation (FENCE
The FENCE project is a consortium of international experts from eight European countries aiming to foster an entrepreneurial culture within Nursing Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), to enhance the entrepreneurial innovation skills of nursing students and early-career nurses.
The objectives of the Erasmus+ funded project involve conducting a systematic review of policies/frameworks and practices to explore entrepreneurial innovation in Nursing HEIs. Also, stakeholders' perceptions of current challenges/opportunities will be explored through focus groups. The findings will be used to develop recommendations and education interventions that foster entrepreneurial innovation within Nursing HEIs.
Specifically, the duties of the post are:
Conducting systematic (mapping) literature reviews
Liaising with expert collaborators and stakeholders
Supporting coordination of participant recruitment and data collection
Performing data analyses, interpreting results and presenting findings
Contributing to scientific manuscripts, reports, and presentations
Complying with statutory legislation, RCSI and department rules and requirements in staff welfare and safety.
Representing the best interests of the Faculty and wider RCSI at all times.
Engage in appropriate professional training and development opportunities.
Performing such other duties as may be requested from time to time.
Qualifications – (Essential):
Level 8 undergraduate degree in Design Thinking, Innovation, Nursing or a related discipline
Knowledge & Experience – (Essential):
Previous research experience
Conducting literature reviews
Excellent time management skills
Ability to communicate complex information clearly in English, both in writing and verbally.
