- hourly rate of pay is €19.77.The duration of the role is 12 months with the possibility of extension.
*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role
* Temporary Contract Duties & Responsibilities: Preparation and processing of hospital payrolls, incorporating calculation and verification of all the constituent components, and ensuring completeness, accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of all tasks and inputs associated with same.Accurate completion of periodic, monthly, annual and other returns, forms and all related documents both for Revenue and individual employees.Ensuring compliance with all Legislative, Revenue & Social Welfare regulations and HSE and Department of Health Guidelines and circulars.Ensuring that adequate payroll, pension and other records are maintained in a satisfactory condition and provide payroll information as required.Completion of any other compliance, HSE and other stakeholder requirements.Preparing Fortnightly Payroll and completion of Monthly returns and inputs.Liaising with internal department managers and HR business partners.Systems development: assisting in the development and introduction of new systems and implementation of system changes arising from legislation, social welfare and Revenue.Ensuring GDPR protection standards in line with Hospital Policy.To ensure statutory deductions are calculated correctly.Answer Payroll queries from staff.General office administration.Cover duties for other Payroll staff.Experience & Competencies: Experience of using SAP HR Payroll system.Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.Good IT skills including proficiency using Microsoft Office.Understanding of payroll cycles, returns and reporting.A flexible approach to working hours is required in order to ensure deadlines are met.Training will be provided for the successful candidate.The above Job Description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties involved and consequently, the post holder may be required to perform other duties as appropriate to the post which may be assigned to him/her from time to time and to contribute to the development of the post while in office.
