Overview
A leading FMCG manufacturer in Co. Meath are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth operation of high-speed production lines in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives - all while upholding the highest standards of safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support across production equipment, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
* Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with schedules
* Accurately log work using the site\'s maintenance software system
* Support upgrades, repairs, and continuous improvement projects
* Maintain GMP and Health & Safety standards at all times
* Collaborate effectively with the wider maintenance and production teams
Qualifications / Criteria
* Fully qualified electrician with strong mechanical aptitude
* 3-5 years\' experience in a similar FMCG or manufacturing environment
* Proven electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience with high-speed packaging equipment and pumping systems
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Computer literate with experience using maintenance reporting systems
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset
