Maintenance Technician (Pharmaceutical)

The Role
Lead Group Ireland is currently recruiting a
Maintenance Technician
to support a
large, Pharmaceutical facility in Limerick
. This is a permanent, days-only role offering excellent work–life balance and long-term stability within a highly regulated environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining critical mechanical systems, ensuring high equipment reliability, and supporting data-driven maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on site utilities and facility systems
* Support maintenance activities across HVAC, pumps, compressors, pipework, and associated mechanical assets
* Collect, analyse, and interpret equipment data to support maintenance and reliability decisions
* Assist with fault-finding, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with GMP, EHS, and site procedures
* Work closely with engineering, facilities, and operations teams
* Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and reports
Requirements
* Trade qualification or a related engineering (preferred)
* Previous experience in a
facilities, utilities, or industrial maintenance environment
* Experience within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments is highly desirable
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to collect, interpret, and use data to support maintenance planning and decision-making
* Good understanding of GMP and safety standards
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work
