Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is ideal for a motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail who is keen to develop their career within a growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of monthly management accountsReview and analyse Profit & Loss movements to ensure accuracy and completenessPrepare monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciationTake ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliationsComplete monthly bank and intercompany reconciliationsSupport the year-end audit processMaintain the Fixed Asset RegisterMaintain the company vehicle register and support insurance updates and renewalsPrepare and submit VAT returns across multiple European entitiesPrepare and submit VIES, Intrastat, and CSO returnsProvide cover for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable when requiredAssist with ad-hoc financial analysis and finance projects as they ariseGeneral Office AdministrationManage office supplies and liaise with external service providersAct as the administrative contact for IT platformsMonitor renewals for subscriptions, insurances, and related servicesExperience and RequirementsQualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant (or equivalent)1-3 years' post-qualification experienceStrong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systemsExcellent attention to detailProactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take initiativeStrong organisational and communication skills
