Warehouse Supervisor
Our Mid-west based client is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of their warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, and ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Staff Management: Assign tasks, manage shift rotations, train new employees, and coach existing ones to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
* Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and maintain proper stock rotation.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes and procedures, and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities are conducted safely and adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Communication: Work closely with other shifts/departments to ensure seamless operations and provide daily support to management.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and help team members achieve daily targets.
* Logistics: Oversee trailer services, and manage logistics within the warehouse.
* Quality Control: Ensure the quality of products received, stored, and shipped.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous warehouse supervisory experience is essential.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Ability to train and motivate team members.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience using warehouse inventory management systems is desirable.
