As a Finance Contractor, you will play a pivotal role in optimising their accounting processes and enhancing the efficiency of their supply chain operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide strategic financial insights, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth analysis of cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
* Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems and procedures.
* Provide regular reports and insights on cost variances, trends, and key performance indicators.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
* Work closely with finance teams to develop accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
* Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
* Conduct scenario analyses to assess the impact of various financial and operational strategies.
Compliance and Reporting:
* Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
* Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant
* Proven experience in cost accounting and supply chain management, preferably in a multinational environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
* Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally SAP but not a pre requisite, and advanced Excel skills.
