We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Grade 4 Clerical Officer to provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to a Director-level team. This is a pivotal role in a fast-paced executive environment with exposure to high-level decision-making and operations. Contract: 3 months strong potential for extension Location: 5Km from cork city centre Immediate start Hourly rate: €19.30 Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior leadership including scheduling, meeting coordination, and documentation. Manage correspondence, draft routine communications, and handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Maintain and organise electronic and paper filing systems in line with organisational policies. Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefing materials. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner. Support event and meeting logistics including room bookings, equipment set-up, and minute-taking. Ensure all administrative processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with applicable standards and protocols. Other ad-hoc duties as required to support the functioning of the senior team. Essential Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a public sector or healthcare environment. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
