Technical Lead
* To provide Technical Leadership to the FM Operations team to deliver strong management of client Assets by implementing proper maintenance strategies, appropriate maintenance programs, effective CMMS management
* To provide technical expertise and technical advice to an EMEA client team when managing Asset Life Cycle and replacement
* Carry out regular performance reviews with vendors, optimizing performance, developing relationships and ensuring competence of technicians
* To ensure FM team remain compliant with any statutory maintenance obligations across an EMEA portfolio
* Proactively manage Technical Services vendors in line with contractual requirements.
* Conduct regular performance reviews to drive service optimization, strengthen vendor relationships, and ensure technician competency.
* Lead tender processes for hard services and vendor selection activities when required.
* Support Facility Managers in preparing monthly cost projections for technical services and review against approved budgets.
* Develop and maintain a 5-year rolling CAPEX plan, incorporating life cycle costing and analysis.
* Ensure legal compliance for the maintenance of assets covered under the IFM contract across the EMEA region.
* Foster collaboration and open communication with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on technical and engineering objectives.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvement initiatives within technical engineering functions, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions.
* Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify safety, environmental, and operational risks, implementing preventative measures and updating RAMS for all EMEA employees and vendors.
* Vendor Compliance Management: Ensure vendors across EMEA meet compliance requirements, including risk assessments, method statements, insurance, training records,
* Build and lead high-performing technical teams across EMEA, focusing on mentoring, professional development, and performance management.
* Guide Facility Managers in the oversight of technical vendors, ensuring service quality and compliance.
* Deliver technical engineering support for projects, including system design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
Person Specification
* Engineering qualification in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
* Time served engineer with at least 5 years management experience in a Technical role
* Experience managing large Office portfolios across EMEA
* Technical Services Delivery in a high-quality office environment with Global clients
