Company Description
ABC Nutrition Ltd are seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Food Safety & Quality Management System in a Sports, Lifestyle and Wellness Nutrition low risk manufacturing premises. ABC Nutrition Ltd manufacture several high-end products for private label brands throughout the EU and globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in the FMCG sector and understand ISO 9001, FSSC22000 standards and regulatory requirements at both EU & local level.
The Role:
Manage and lead Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS), including HACCP and GMP across the site.
Ensure compliance of all customer, legislative and GFSI standards.
Act as a key contact for and lead certification, regulatory & customer external audits.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, external contractors and other departments including production, NPD, technical, and sales.
Oversee PRPs such as Supplier approval & monitoring, Raw material approval & monitoring, GMP internal audits, Traceability, Goods in systems, Training and Testing systems which includes finished product, raw materials, environmental, in process.
Conduct customer complaints investigations.
Trend QMS & FSMS system performances.
Lead administrator of the food safety culture system, food defence activities and quarterly meetings.
Requirements:
+3 years' experience in Food Manufacturing.
Working knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, and EU food legislation is essential.
Competent in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and continuous improvement tools.
Internal audit experience is essential.
3rd level Food Science qualification or equivalent.
Excellent retailer and food labelling expertise is an advantage.
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
Strong planning, attention to detail, problem solving, organisational & analytical skillset.
Must be able to work in a team.
Good decision-making skills.
Possess competent PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
