Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget by effectively overseeing all issues surrounding risks, contracts, operations, and communications.
* Manage the day‑to‑day operational and tactical aspects of a large‑scale site.
* Review high‑level deliverables across the site.
* Implement quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology.
* Manage project scope and mitigate risk across projects.
* Attend Health and Safety meetings with the site team and subcontractors.
* Ensure that everyone on site works in accordance with the Health & Safety policy and procedures.
* Ensure that all required materials are identified and ordered in a timely fashion in line with the programme.
* Take the lead in ensuring effective management of performance and budgets, ensuring they are well‑coordinated and run in accordance with the agreed contract programme.
* Manage a direct labour workforce.
* Manage all subcontractors.
* Work with and manage the site management team.
Requirements
* Degree, Higher Diploma, or HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience).
* Significant site management experience on residential projects.
* Background in residential developments essential.
* Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards.
* A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects.
* Accuracy, attention to detail, and a methodical nature are key.
* The ability to lead, use initiative, and be self‑motivated.
