Key Responsibilities
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a prominent GastroPub in Co Clare, focusing on Food, Beverage, and Events business.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating daily activities and managing all areas of the premises.
* Liaising with staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Overseeing security, health, and safety protocols.
* Managing cash handling, sales, promotions, stock control, rostering, and achieving monthly margins.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in managing busy volume Gastro Bars and quality food service operations.
Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in General Management, preferably in a quality Gastropub locally.
2. Strong background in coaching, training, and mentoring staff.
3. Proven ability to build excellent food reputation through collaboration with experienced Head Chefs.
4. Fluent English language proficiency and excellent IT and admin skills.
5. Full legal status to work in Ireland is required.
