About The Land Development Agency
The Land Development Agency (LDA) is a key Government Commercial Semi-State Body that delivers social and affordable housing on State and other lands. It is overseen by an independent board of directors and is funded with €5 billion of equity capital committed by the Government. It is also permitted to borrow up to €1.25bn
The LDA has commenced construction on various state sourced lands and has a direct delivery pipeline in excess of 19,000 homes. It is also delivering affordable housing by working with private sector on an initiative called 'Project Tosaigh', which will yield a further 5,000 homes on land provided by housebuilders.
Additionally, the LDA is working on large-scale longer-term strategic areas by master-planning and bringing forward planning applications in locations such as Limerick Colbert Quarter, the Digital Hub in Dublin and Sandy Road in Galway.

The Role
This is a key position to support the Consultation and Stakeholder Engagement Office (CSEO) within the LDA. This is a great opportunity to work in a state agency, use your creativity and initiative to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and build excellent relationships throughout the agency.
This role would suit someone who is looking to bring their administrative flair to a stakeholder and consultation service within a growing organisation. This role is a critical opportunity to contribute to the LDA's goal of delivering affordable high-quality homes for purchase or rent.
The successful candidate is someone who likes a fast-paced dynamic environment and takes ownership for their own workload, while furthering and supporting the CSES function within the LDA.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Support the rollout and administration of the Consultation and Stakeholder Engagement strategy while working with the Stakeholder and Public engagement manager (SPEO)
- Develop and manage the stakeholder mapping, administration of communication channels and assist with the programme for each CSES Project
- Provide support to the CSES Manager in roll out of Project roadmap
- Collaborating with the Communications and Public affairs team on various LDA mediums including the website and online channels
- Support SPEO with the development and updating of core communication materials for audiences
- Support and contribute to the delivery of workshops, community working groups, meetings and focus groups
- Ensure stakeholder records are kept up-to-date and reflect latest contact and engagement activities, working with CSES Toolkit Excel Systems and maintaining records for all projects
- Assist with ensuring all SPEO Work is aligned with LDA policies and procedures
- Prepare and collate documents and minutes, for senior internal and external audiences
- Work collaboratively with all LDA staff and project team members
- Maintenance of sensitive and confidential information
- Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Other tasks as requested by the Stakeholder & Public Engagement Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a similar role
- Experience with community and public in meetings, events and public consultation
- Professional Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Excel & Word.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate strong organisational, planning, time management, project management, problem-solving, and anticipatory skills
- Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude, maintain confidentiality, and be an effective team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
