Responsibilities
* Developing and monitoring and maintaining overall monthly project and operational costs
* Supporting the Inventory reconciliation within SAP for our external warehouse network
* Understanding of WIP and finished good storage transactions within the ERP system
* Applying technical understanding to solve problems in Supply Chain.
* Collaboration with external supply chain warehouse partners and internal warehouse and inventory control team
* Supporting our logistics and transportation team with load planning, tracking, and customer service.
* Ensuring compliance with Global Trade Compliance and internal operational procedures.
What learning or experience will you gain
* Understanding and functional expertise within SAP inventory modules
* Collaboration with external supply chain warehouse partners and internal warehouse and inventory control team
* Experience of logistics and transportation management with load planning, tracking, tendering and customer service.
* Tracking and measuring performance of ocean steamship lines with cargo, while communicating in transit and shipment status report to GID Customer Service
The ideal person
* Pursuing a degree in Business/Supply Chain or related discipline.
* Willingness to tackle the challenges presented in the Supply Chain environment.
* Self-starter with drive for improvement and progression of assignments / projects
