The automation technician will play a key role in supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment.
Job Description
* Support the installation and commissioning of automated production lines and equipment.
* Perform planned, predictive and reactive maintenance on automation systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement equipment modifications and improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Ensure all work is documented in line with regulatory standards.
* Validate, calibrate and qualify equipment and systems as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree.
* At least 2 years' experience in an automation or maintenance role.
* Strong technical knowledge of PLCs, robotics, servo systems and vision systems.
* Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Familiarity with GMP and ISO standards.
