You will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our dealer partners, ensuring they have the necessary support and skills to sell the full range of motor finance products associated with Volkswagen Financial Services Ireland (VWFSIE).Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for our Dealer partners.Build and maintain strong relationships with our network of Volkswagen Group Dealer Partners across the assigned region.Develop, implement and measure effective territory sales strategies to optimise performance.Ensure commercial targets and KPIs are achieved monthly, quarterly and annually, setting action plans and measurable objectives to maximise sales and volume aspirations.Ensure your region is managed with a 'Dealer Partner First' philosophy and your monthly Dealer contact strategy is well planned, achieved and that each meeting offers a value-led purpose.Identify, through your contact strategy, additional sales opportunities (wholesale funding, service plans, extended warranty, GAP insurance etc.) to support wider commercial objectives.Identify and maximise opportunities with VWFSIE by gaining a clear understanding of competitor offerings and service levels, enabling us to better meet the needs of our customers and dealer partners.Deliver effective meetings that include a clear agenda and documented actions to engage relevant stakeholders to implement what has been agreed.Plan, update and maintain accurate records and actions through our CRM, Salesforce.Provide coaching to your Dealer Partners through regular finance reviews, along with training and development in collaboration with our Network Training department.Monitor the performance of your Dealer partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Identify and manage risk, taking the appropriate steps to mitigate including the escalation of any concerns to the appropriate team regarding Dealer Partner processes and behaviours that may lead to increased risk.Work with internal functions such as Complaints, Compliance, Credit, Marketing, as required.Maintain a sound understanding of key regulatory obligations applicable to the motor finance industry in Ireland.Ongoing focus on continuous improvement and fostering stronger collaboration across departments.Suitable ExperienceExcellent interpersonal and customer care skillsA strong credit background would be beneficial to support the completion of credit reviews, as well as to provide well-informed recommendations and appealsStrong relationship management skillsDesirable experience gained within the motor industryDesirable experience gained within the financial services industryDesirable experience in account management of a geographic territory in a field-based roleDesirable experience of adding value within a sales processExcellent IT skills, specifically using MS suite of products and a CRM system similar to SalesforceThe applicant for this role must comply with the fitness and probity and minimum competency standardsAPA or CIP qualification is a distinct advantage; however, not a requirement. At minimum, the successful candidate must be prepared to undertake and pass the APA exams upon appointment (or an alternative route of QFA modules: (i) Loans, (ii) Regulation)CIP01 and CIP04 Insurance Qualifications from the Insurance Institute of Ireland are also an advantage; however, not a requirement.
