Job Description:
Are you an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in the energy industry? Our client, a leading Irish multi-disciplinary engineering company based in County Kildare, is looking for experienced Electrical Engineers for projects in the energy sector.
The successful candidate will:
1. Review and understand schematics, GA plans, and project specifications.
2. Design development, validate equipment and systems; a trade background with a third-level qualification.
3. Develop scopes, specifications, and carry out LV design.
4. Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues.
5. Analyze supplier information for alignment with design specifications.
6. Coordinate on projects with a proven record.
7. Use tools such as Trimble ProDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project.
8. Work well under pressure and within strict deadlines.
9. Drive large-scale projects.
10. Ensure the Construction Team adheres to all contractual requirements, providing advice and monitoring.
11. Manage overall project delivery from inception to completion.
12. Provide daily and weekly progress reports, chair and attend client meetings.
13. Identify issues and risks early and resolve or escalate accordingly.
14. Manage workload, equipment, and resources.
15. Liaise with SHEQ Manager on all project safety, health, environment, and quality matters.
16. Support business development through tendering and networking.
17. Adhere to core Customer Care principles.
Job Requirements:
* Experience working on multidisciplinary projects.
* A Degree in Engineering or Management plus a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
* Experience with LV electrical systems; open to developing MV/HV knowledge.
* Excellent commercial understanding.
* Strong IT skills, including diagnostic skills.
* Set clear goals, focus on targets, and demonstrate enthusiasm and drive for quality performance.
